Practice Areas and Work ExperienceWith over 25 years experience, Ms. Traum, a seasoned litigator and trial attorney who moved her practice to smaller firm setting after working at large firms for over 17 years, and running her own law office from 2005 to 2008. She has a broad range of experience, from large complex construction and real estate matters to individual client personal injury and real property disputes. Since 2004, Ms. Traum has also been A-V rated by theMartindale-Hubbellpeer review process and has been rated one of the top lawyers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Traum specializes in civil litigation, concentrating her efforts on business litigation, including contractual disputes, disputes arising out of large construction projects, real estate disputes, ADA issues, toxic torts (including mold / bodily injury cases), elder financial abuse and various types of products liability claims. Her experience includes trial of a real estate non-disclosure / mold case in Marin County Superior Court where she obtained a Non-Suit for her client. In 2003, she played leading roles in construction cases valued in the range of $100 Million, one such case involved a leaking high rise apartment building on a University campus; and another case involving an allegedly defective road base material used under an extensive municipal road way system in the Bay Area. Ms. Traum represents contractors, property owners, and homeowner associations in construction and real property disputes, including defect claims, contractual disputes, real estate non-disclosure claims, and property boundary disputes, including tree-related matters. Ms. Traum also has experience representing both lenders and property owners in disputes relating to residential mortgages and deeds of trust, including non-judicial foreclosure actions and alleged predatory lending practices. Ms. Traum also continues to handle select personal injury matters from both the defense and plaintiff side of cases.
