Soledad M. Valencianois a dedicated attorney atSpivey Valenciano PLLC, based in San Antonio, Texas. Her practice is focused entirely on eminent domain, and she serves clients throughout the state of Texas.Ms. Valenciano received her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law in 2006, after earning an M.Ed. in special education from Texas State University and a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University, bothmagna cum laude. She has been licensed to practice in Texas since 2006 and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.Currently, Ms. Valenciano is a co-owner of Spivey Valenciano, PLLC, a position she has held since 2012. Recognized for her contributions to the legal field, she has been honored as one of San Antonio’s Outstanding Women in Law in 2022 and 2023 by the Scene in S.A. magazine. She has also been highlighted as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Texas by Texas Monthly.Ms. Valenciano is actively involved in her community and professional organizations. She is the 2024-2025 Chair of the Real Estate Section of the San Antonio Bar Association.  She serves on the Steering Committee for the Bexar County Women's Bar Foundation LEAD Academy and has held various leadership roles in the Federal Bar Association’s San Antonio Chapter. Additionally, she is a member of several bar associations and has volunteered as a mediator at the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center.Ms. Valenciano frequently contributes to legal publications and speaks at events. She co-authors the Federal Court Update for San Antonio Lawyer magazine and has published articles on property rights and eminent domain.
