Stacey S. Barber is a partner at Crenshaw, Dupree & Milam LLP, with the law firm’s offices located in Lubbock, Texas, and Hobbs, New Mexico. A board-certified attorney in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, she is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. She pursued her interest in law at Texas A&M University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor degree in 1998. Following her legal studies, she earned a Texas Litigation Certification from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1989 and spent the next six years as an assistant district attorney for the Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Lubbock County, Texas. This role enabled her to acquire diverse experience and valuable knowledge that shaped the bedrock of her legal practice today.An active member of the Texan legal community, Ms. Barber upholds various leadership positions and memberships with notable legal associations such as the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, the State Bar of Texas (Family Law Section and Collaborative Law Section), the Texas Bar College, the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, the Lubbock Area Bar Association (board of directors), the Lubbock County Young Lawyers Association, the Lubbock County Women Lawyers Association (treasurer), the South Plains Association of Family Law Practice and the Texas District & County Attorneys Association.
