Stephen L. Hewitt

Stephen L. Hewitt is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has tried more than 60 jury trials to verdict. He is also a mediator for several courts and professional organizations.Hewitt & Raphael, established in 1989, handles complex litigation with emphasis on health care, professional liability, employment law and recreation.  We specialize in cases involving medical malpractice, managed care, utilization review, elder abuse and medical product liability. We regularly represent a variety of other professionals, including insurance brokers and agents, real estate agents, and contractors.  Our employment law practice includes wrongful termination, harassment and sexual abuse in commercial establishments and recreational venues.We have particular expertise in recreation and entertainment, representing professional football teams, scuba diving and motorsports organizations, racing venues, and promoters, among many others.
