Stephen Watrel

Stephen Watrel is a shareholder at Coker Law, where he focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm's office in Jacksonville, Florida, he represents clients in the greater Jacksonville area and throughout Northeast and Central Florida. Admitted to practice before all Florida state courts since 1992, Mr. Watrel is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.Mr. Watrel's client base comprises people who have been injured or killed as a result of the negligence of other parties. A majority of his practice is devoted to representation of family members whose loved ones have been abused or neglected in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Other types of cases that Mr. Watrel handles involve commercial truck and automobile crashes.  He has obtained many millions of dollars in compensation for his clients through both jury verdicts and settlements.  His successful track record has led to a great deal of recognition from his fellow attorneys.
