Steven W. Dimitt

Licensed to practice in Texas since 2009, Steven W. Dimitt functions as a partner at the Platt Richmond PLLC, from their office in Dallas. He focuses on representing commercial clients in matters of real estate, land use and zoning, and construction. Handling all aspects of real estate development from site selection to construction, lease and the final sale of the project, he is committed to solving complex real estate and construction litigation matters.Mr. Dimitt secured his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and went on to secure his Juris Doctor cum laude from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Utilizing the knowledge and experiences gained over these years, he also helps his clients navigate matters of negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, development agreements and property management agreements. With clientele including landlords and tenants, he also negotiates commercial leases, mid level and high-rise office leasing, and industrial leasing from single to multi-tenant industrial parks.Concentrating primarily on negotiating deals, Mr. Dimitt has extensive experience drafting contracts for developers, general contractors and subcontractors, which enable them to minimize risks to exposure before starting a new project.
