Terence P. O'Connor

As a partner with O'Connor, O'Connor, Bresee & First, P.C., Terence P. O'Connor is dedicated to serving clients in the Albany, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Glens Falls, New York, areas. He focuses his practice primarily on defending clients in personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and premises liability.After attending the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, Mr. O'Connor received his Bachelor of Science in psychology from St. Lawrence University in 1980. During his undergraduate years, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1983. Mr. O'Connor is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Vermont as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.Recognized for his excellent legal skills and ethics, Mr. O'Connor has earned the respect and high regard of his fellow attorneys, as evidenced by his receipt of an AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.
