Theodore Karatinos

Theodore “Ted” E. Karatinos is managing member of Holliday Karatinos Law Firm, PLLC, and represents clients in St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa, Florida. With a passion for helping those who have been the victim of another’s carelessness, he takes cases related to personal injury, including trucking accidents, litigation and appeals, sexual abuse, and motor vehicle accidents. Through his successful verdicts and settlements, he has earned a lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.Admitted to practice in the state of Florida, he is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Throughout his successful career, Mr. Karatinos has had his winnings covered by the Tampa Bay Times and the Bradenton Herald.Mr. Karatinos attended the Franklin & Marshall College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization in 1990 before moving on to law school. At Stetson University College of Law, he earned his Juris Doctor in 1993. His writings have been published in the Florida Bar News & Journal, The Federal Lawyer, The Young Lawyer and Barrister Magazine.At Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Karatinos has taught Federal Civil Pretrial Practice since 2002. During his career, he has litigated cases under the following laws: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act, the Jones Act, the Florida Tort Act, the American With Disabilities Act, the Federal Tort Claims Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
