Townsend Joseph Belt is an attorney at Anthony & Partners, LLC, located in Tampa, Florida. Additionally, he provides counsel on business-related matters, including forming and dissolving business entities, negotiating contracts, and handling business disputes related to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, account collection, noncompete agreements, breaches of fiduciary duty, fraud, conversion and creditors’ rights.Mr. Belt graduated from the University of South Florida College of Business and earned his law degree magna cum laude from St. Thomas University in Miami. Furthering his education, he obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. He is actively involved in the legal community and Italian American organizations, holding memberships in various bar associations and serving on the boards of The Italian Club of Tampa and the National Italian American Foundation. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2009 and is authorized to practice in all Florida trial and appellate courts, as well as several federal courts.
