Walker W. Beavers

Walker primarily handles condemnation, commercial, and personal injury cases on a contingency basis. He has tried more than one-hundred cases to a jury verdict. Walker has tried cases throughout Texas, including the Federal District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas, and in Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Bexar, Denton, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston, Brazoria, Chambers, Waller, Wharton, Brazos, Nueces, Williamson, Bastrop, Bandera, and Webb counties. He has also argued appeals before the Fifth Circuit and the Texas Court of Appeals for Houston (1st and 14th), Dallas, Texarkana, and Waco. As a result of these experiences, Walker is very familiar with the Greater Houston Area court system, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex court system, and the Austin-San Antonio Corridor court system.Walker has represented plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and personal injury cases ranging in complexity from securities fraud, real estate fraud, antitrust violations, wrongful death actions, condemnation, breaches of fiduciary duty, products liability, and professional malpractice to matters involving simple negligence and breach of contract issues.After decades as a voting and equity partner with Vinson & Elkins, LLP, Walker decided to establish his own independent law firm to continue his success in recovering compensation for the harm that others have inflicted on his clients, free of any conflicts that might preclude or impede him from representing and advancing the claims of those who need his help.
