WookSun Hong is part of the Bay Area Legal Incubator, a group of attorneys that provide legal services for mid to low-income communities. Their practice areas cover landlord-tenant, employment, immigration, estate planning, real estate, business/corporate law, prisoners’ rights, elder law, education, and more. He graduated from Seoul National University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He pursued a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry before switching to law. He is the recipient of the ACBA’s 2019 Distinguished Service Award for Barrister. He is a recepient of 2019, 2020, and 2022 extraordinary VLSC volunteer, and 2023 Volunteer Appreciation Award, and was a member of ACBA LRS Governing Committee from 2019 until 2024, vice chair in 2023, and chair in 2024. He enjoys cycling and wants to travel to as many countries as possible in the future.He personally handles housing/landlord-tenant cases, residential or commercial; housing discrimination including section 8/income discrimination, gender identity/sexual orientation discrimination, race/national origin discrimination, service/support animal issues. However, he handles many other aspects of related real estate issues, such as title disputes, boundary disputes, transaction disputes, etc. His areas of practice include Business law (Business contacts and entity formation) and estate planning (Trust, Will, Power of attorney).
