    Verdicts/Settlements (Case Results):
    • $900,000 Settlement: Plaintiff, a 62 year old female, was a front seat passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a T-bone collision.  Plaintiff suffered multiple fractured ribs and a fractured sternum. It was alleged that the severe blunt force trauma caused plaintiff to develop acute traumatic cardiomyopathy, resulting in a severely reduced ejection fraction that required cardiac catheterization and subsequent implantation of ICD/Pacemaker. , 2020
    • In the last 10 years I have personally recovered more than one hundred (100) 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Awards that are over $1 Million Dollars.
    • $2.2 Million 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Award for an electician who died from brain cancer and left behind a wife and two children, 2023
    • $2.5 Million 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Award for an attorney who died of pancreatic cancer, leaving behind a wife and two children. , 2024
    • $825,000 Settlement: Plaintiff, a 44 year old male, suffered a fractured left ankle on February 1, 2022, when he slipped and fell on snow and ice at a train station.  Plaintiff required open reduction and internal fixation with syndesmotic fixation on February 11, 2022.  He subsequently developed an infection with osteomyelitis necessitating surgery on March 25, 2022, for the removal of the hardware.  The case settled during discovery, after the first defense witness was produced. , 2024
    • $650,000 Settlement: 45 year old supermarket employee slipped and fell as a result of defendant cleaning company’s negligence while cleaning the floors in the overnight hours of a 24 hour supermarket.  Plaintiff sustained a fractured collarbone and a torn rotator cuff which he had surgery to repair. , 2022
    • $750,000 Settlement: The plaintiff was a twenty-seven year old female driver who was injured in a motor vehicle accident when defendant’s vehicle T-boned her.  The plaintiff sustained multiple herniations in her cervical spine and lumbar spine and underwent a cervical disc replacement surgery six months after the accident.  The case settled right before jury selection.  , 2020
    • $900,000 settlement: Plaintiff was a backseat passenger in her sister’s vehicle that was involved in a T-bone collision with another vehicle.  Liability for the accident was contested by the other vehicle, as dash cam footage from the vehicle behind the plaintiff’s sister, demonstrated that plaintiff’s sister ran a red light.  In spite of this evidence, and plaintiff’s sister’s limited policy, I was able to obtain a substantial settlement of from the other vehicle for plaintiff’s mild traumatic brain injury for which she made a good recovery.  , 2023
    • $1.2 Million Settlement: Plaintiff, a 27 year old female, was involved in an accident when defendant made a left turn directly in front of plaintiff’s vehicle.  Plaintiff suffered herniations in her cervical spine and bilateral pars fractures and L5-S1 spondylolysis with spondylolisthesis and spinal stenosis of the lumbar spine.  After more than a year of failed conservative treatment, plaintiff had an L5-S1 decompression and fusion.  The case settled approximately one month before jury selection was scheduled to begin.  , 2022
    • $750,000 Settlement: Plaintiff was a 47 year old self-employed female whose vehicle was struck in the rear by defendant’s vehicle.  It was alleged that defendant’s negligence caused permanent injury to plaintiff’s head and face with regard to her right eye and eyelid, along with some cognitive and neurological deficits.  Plaintiff alleged that she had problems with activities of daily living and memory. Defendant argued that plaintiff stopped short.  Defendant would have argued during the damages trial that plaintiff had a long history of eye issues, in addition to a long history of claims related to cognition and memory, as a result of multiple prior episodes of toxic exposure. The case settled while the jury deliberated the liability phase of trial. , 2020
