    • A 19 year old Florida Atlantic University college student attended College Night at Blue Martini in Boca Raton, Florida, with several of his friends. Blue Martini failed to properly check his identification and verify his age, and served him alcohol. After leaving the bar and while walking back to his dorm intoxicated he was hit by a car while attempting to cross a busy street in the wee hours of the morning, suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Social media posts by Blue Martini marketing itself and the college nights, and by third parties helped to prove liability and its insurers ultimately tendered the limits of its insurance, $11,000,000, 2019
