While in law school, she worked with the school’s Hastings Center for Gender and Refugee Studies to discover more about Guatemala and the country’s gender-based violence.Ms. Bustamante is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and The State Bar of California. She gives back to her community through her work with the East Bay Sanctuary Covenant and the Centro Legal de la Raza.
