In that case we obtained a unanimous decision in our insurance policyholder client's favor. The case involved insurance bad faith and violations of California Business & Professions Code 17200. The entire insurance industry opposed us and took the position that they the insurance industry was above the law and that they did not have to comply with the provisions of B&P 17200 while doing business in California. They were wrong and the highest court in California agreed with us. , 2013
