Asset Recovery Group, LLC v. Cabrera, 233 So. 3d 1173 (Fla. 3d DCA 2017). Obtained a Writ of Prohibition regarding the denial of a motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The successful appeal resulted in a favorable resolution at the trial court level for our client, a court appointed receiver, who had been sued in a negligent security claim. , 2017

We represented a debt collection agency in defending an adversary action where they were accused of engaging in unfair debt collection practices. After less than a year of litigation our client paid nothing to settle the matter and the plaintiff trustee agreed to dismiss their claim with prejudice., 2017
Evensen v. Gerstin. US District Court, Southern District. 9:17-CV-80926-RLR. We represented a law firm accused of FDCPA and civil rights violations. We immediately moved to dismiss Plaintiff's claims and obtained a dismissal of all claims after just over a month of litigation., 2017
Cameron v. Barry K Rothman. US Bankruptcy Court - Middle District, Tampa Division. Case Number 8:16-ap-00457-CPM. We represented a California Attorney who was sued in an adversary proceeding for allegedly aiding and abetting fraudulent transfers. We immediately moved to dismiss the suit and disqualify plaintiff's counsel. (DE 15, DE 17). In just over three months all claims were dismissed and after the trustee's counsel was disqualified the remaining attorney did not re-file any claims against my client., 2016

Represented the Department of Financial Services as Receiver for Aequicap Insurance Company in an appellate matter at the 4th DCA. Obtained a Per Curiam Opinion affirming an underlying summary judgment. Ultimately collected the full amount of the judgment on behalf of the Department in the amount of $149,487.38. Prevailed after oral argument at the 3rd DCA. Case #3D12-526, DFLA v. Carlos Betancourt, et al. I defended Joan Blackman and International Corporate Art in a case alleging various interference torts as well as civil conspiracy. We had obtained a dismissal with prejudice at the trial court level after multiple motions to dismiss. Lower Case No.: 10-28564, Miami Dade Circuit Court. The Plaintiff appealed and after briefing and oral argument the trial court's opinion was affirmed. We ultimately recovered attorney's fees at the trial level on our client's behalf.
