Bar / Professional Activity:

I served as a member of the Board of Directors for the El Paso Bar Association from 2011 through 2014. While a Director of the El Paso Bar Association I served as the Chairmen of Member Outreach Committee and was responsible for organizing member events, and as the Assistant Chairman for the Law Day Banquet Committee. In those capacities I ensured that the EPBA provided meaningful opportunities for members to meet, socialize and have fun together. I am proud that my committee sponsored monthly events that focused on different segments of the community such as happy hours, family bowling nights and holiday parties and community outreach programs.

As a member of the Houston Bar Association I have served on the Elder Law and Guardianship Committee. As a member of this committee I worked to organize a "Will Fair" designed at providing low-income individuals with free estate planning documents. I have also volunteered with the HBA's "Law Line" committee and am proud of working with the HBA to provide legal services to individuals affected by Hurricane Harvey.
