- Our firm has been blessed with handling several cases that were over seven figures and have recovered millions of dollars on behalf of our clients that are too numerous to put down but some of which can be seen on our website. Wren v. Kinzer Oklahoma County Case No. CJ-2010-3560 is a 2011 case that I am very proud of. On or about the 16th day of June, 2009, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, State of Oklahoma, Plaintiff Jerry Lee Wren was traveling northbound on I-35 when Defendant Linda Michelle Kinzer, also traveling northbound on I-35, turned around to talk to her son in the back seat of her car, struck the rear-end of Plaintiff’s vehicle. Plaintiff had $29,033.13 in medical and it was Plaintiff's position that he needed a back surgery that had not happened as of August 30, 2011. Verdict for Plaintiff-$500,000.00, 2011
- I was privileged to represent Ms. Betty Smith on behalf of her sister and obtained a $3,000,000 verdict against the following Defendants. IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF PONTOTOC COUNTY STATE OF OKLAHOMA BETTY ANN SMITH, as Personal Representatives of the Estate of MARY JO CUSHMAN, Deceased v. IHS BALLARD NURSING CENTER, INC. d/b/a BALLARD NURSING CENTER; IHS HOLDINGS, INC.; IHS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS, INC. and BART REED Defendants. Death of 81 y/o old lady who died of sepsis, UTI, dehydration and acute on chronic renal failure unnecessarily. She went into Ballard for therapy and died a horrific death just 39 days later, 2014

- I was privileged to write a book to provide families when faced with the decision to put their loved ones in a nursing home that they could use as an instructional guideline in choosing the correct home. This book is basically my musings on what one should look for before making that tough decision. Other Outstanding Achievements:
- Our firm was priviledged to have handled a case where the OK Court of Civil Appeals reversed a ruling by the lower Court that dismissed an owner of a nursing home for his direct actions based on a horrible law enacted by our legislature. The Court of Civil appeals reversed that ruling and the owner is still a defendant in the case. Lowell v. GLC-Mangum., 2015
- We obtained two favorable opinions regarding arbitration agreements from the OK Supreme Court at the end of last year and both were against Grace Living Center homes (Boler, 2014 OK 80; and Churchill, 2014 OK 102) – In those cases the OK Supreme Court has held (as in Bruner v. Timberlake et al, 2006 OK 90) that GLC was wholly intrastate and not preempted by the FAA – and that the beneficiaries’ claims were not derivative such that they could be bound by an agreement signed by the decedent. Great opinions on behalf of Oklahomans. Unfortunately GLCs are trying to get the US Supreme Court to look at this but hopefully they realize that this is nothing more than a state issue. , 2014
