    • Premise Liability. On or about January 31, 2019, Plaintiff Jonathan Cook was severely injured after falling from the second floor of 340 Restaurant & Nightclub. 340 Restaurant & Nightclub neglected to observe and provide adequate security to Mr. Jonathan Cook. The Club also had inadequate railings on the second floor that posed a risk of foreseeable danger, in that such features made the railings climbable, and used curtains on the second floor which obstructed the employees’ and security’s view of the railings. The security and employees of 340 Restaurant & Nightclub served Mr. Jonathan Cook food and alcoholic beverages and observed and allowed him to climb the railings, walls and ledges of the two-story nightclub, and failed to prevent Mr. Cook from falling and striking his head on the first floor of the establishment. Due to this gross carelessness, inattention and lack of intervention, Mr. Cook fell from the second story down to the ground of the first floor, causing him severe, lifelong injuries. As a result of the fall, he sustained a skull fracture, right shoulder fracture, was placed on a breathing machine, sustained a bruised brain, and fractured his right hip. Laura Sedrish obtained a $1 million settlement on behalf of the client, 2020
    • $13 Million | Wrongful Death vs. City
    • $19 Million | Ride Share Passenger vs. Auto / Quadriplegic
    • Premise Liability. While on the camp premises as a participant in a religious summer camp, Plaintiff was seriously injured on June 25, 2015, when she jumped from a cliff into Lake Mead as part of the camp’s activities. During the incident, Defendant  failed to supervise or take reasonable and adequate precautions for the safety of the children in their care, including without limitation failing to provide reasonable safety training to campers, failing to select and provide reasonably safe water activities for campers, failing to provide reasonable training for counselors on safe cliff jumping and/or failing to supervise the children participating in the camp. Plaintiff sustained two spinal fractures due to the incident, underwent a kyphoplasty for one of her fractured discs and a spinal cord stimulator trial placement for her ongoing pain. Laura Sedrish obtained a confidential seven figure settlement on behalf of client., 2019
    • Auto v. Auto. On or about October 9, 2015, Defendant Jason Andrew Mena was in the course and scope of employment for Defendant Bulldog EQP when his tow truck rear ended Plaintiff Brenda De La Cruz’s F150 on the southbound I-110 (Harbor Freeway). Defendant contended that Plaintiff was at fault for the crash and cut him off. Plaintiff was 36 years old at the time of the crash. She suffered immediate pain to her right neck, shoulder, right arm, and right wrist/hand, and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Plaintiff sustained multiple injuries from the collision including, but not limited to, C4-C5 1-2 mm protrusion, C5-C6 1 mm bulge, C6-C7 3 mm protrusion, and L4-L5 3 mm protrusion, requiring a cervical neck fusion. Laura Sedrish obtained a $925,000 settlement on behalf of client, 2019
    • Premises Liability. In the case of Kenneth Rhee, the client, a member in the Army Reserves, was catastrophically injured while attempting to gain access to his locked apartment by way of lowering himself from the building’s rooftop to his apartment balcony. He ultimately slipped and fell three stories, suffering a severe spinal cord injury. After the case was rejected by several firms, Ms. Sedrish was emboldened to find some sort of liability to help Mr. Rhee and his family. Approximately six months after the complaint was filed, she obtained the full policy of $2 million, by arguing that the owner and property manager of the building should not have allowed tenants access to the roof in violation of their reasonable standard of care., 2019
    • Pedestrian v. Auto accident. In the case of William Brighton, Ms. Sedrish settled the case within mere months of filing the complaint. Ms. Sedrish obtained a $5.5 million settlement for 78-year old Mr. Brighton, who at the time of the subject incident, was homeless and a former felon with a long history of drug abuse and personal struggles. He suffered catastrophic injuries in this pedestrian vs. auto accident, but the settlement helped put in him a nursing facility where he will be cared for and looked after for the rest of his life, 2019
