Laurence Mandell

As the founding and managing partner of Mandell Trial Lawyers, Laurence H. Mandell brings more than 40 years of experience to the cases he handles. The law firm maintains its office in Woodland Hills, but he also serves clients in Greater Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and all of Southern California. Mr. Mandell takes on cases in all areas of personal injury law, including airplane accidents, boating accidents, hit-and-run accidents, animal attacks, nursing home abuse and chronic pain syndromes.Mr. Mandell completed his law degree at San Fernando Valley College of Law (now known as University of West Angeles). He was then admitted to practice in California in 1978. Because of his commitment to lifelong learning, he also graduated from the Trial Lawyers College and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Now, he helps prepare a new generation of attorneys through his contributions via producing podcasts, speaking at events, providing radio commentary and publishing several articles.When pursuing justice on behalf of his personal injury clients, Mr. Mandell focuses primarily on getting them the maximum compensation possible. This has resulted in incredible wins for his personal injury clients, such as $14 million for a mass tort liability case and $3.5 million for a brain injury case.Mr. Mandell believes strongly in the power of investing in his community and in causes that serve marginalized groups. Consequently, he spends a great deal of time taking on pro bono work and volunteering. Outside of law, he is an avid outdoorsman with a love for horses, skiing, dogs and tennis.
