- Kohl v. Pluris Wedgefield, LLC, Case No. 2020-CA-004390-O, Fla. Cir. Ct., Orange City. Matthew Mokwa of the Maher Law Firm was appointed class counsel in this class action that involved drinking water contamination of an Orange County, Florida neighborhood. The court-approved settlement provided members of the class with $3.3 million in monetary relief and significant equitable remedies in the form of increased water monitoring and testing. The final order approving the class settlement was entered on April 6, 2023.
- In re: Coloplast Corp. Pelvic Support Systems Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2387 - This multidistrict litigation involved claims against Coloplast related to transvaginal mesh implantable medical devices. The Maher Law Firm successfully resolved claims for dozens of injured women. Redding v. Coloplast Corp., Case No. 6:19-cv-1857 - The Maher Law Firm obtained a $2.5 million verdict in the Middle District of Florida on behalf of a client who elected not to resolve her case as part of the MDL settlement 2022.
