    • In November 2017, a Los Angeles jury unanimously awarded our client compensatory damages of $1.22 million in a whistleblower case after less than one hour of jury deliberations.  , 2017
    • In October 2016, Mr. Barrera prevailed in a wrongful termination and defamation case against a local auto dealership.  A unanimous jury awarded $360,000 to Mr. Barrera's client after just three hours of deliberations.   The case is Preciado v. Alfaqir, Inc., et al., 2016
    • On August 20, 2017, a San Bernardino jury awarded our client, a former T-Mobile store manager, $5,020,042, including $4 million in punitive damages in an employment retaliation case.   The jury reached a unanimous decision after 3.5 hours of deliberations.   The case is Colucci v. T-Mobile, Inc., CIVDS1502822.  , 2017
    • In April 2018, a downtown Los Angeles jury awarded damages for economic loss, emotional distress and punitive damages in a failure-to-hire age discrimination case. We represented a 54-year-old woman who was deemed qualified and recommneded for the job she was interviewing for by the interview team but she was bypassed by upper management for a substantially younger less qualified applicant.   The case is Hoffer v. Chevron USA, Inc., LASC BC637501., 2018
    • A Los Angeles jury returned a verdict in our client's favor in an employment retaliation case, in the sum of $1,583,544 on June 10, 2014. Abyane v. County of Los Angeles, LASC Case No. BC489359.     , 2014
