Appointed legal counsel by the General Consulate of Mexico in a claim against the City of Fairfield for their lack of cooperation in issuing discretionary U visa certification for eligible victims of qualifying crimes. As a result, the Fairfield Police Department appointed a female police officer to the U visa unit in efforts to review and fairly provide certifications for applicants who are in fact eligible. , 2013
