- In May 2025, Mr. Mavrick successfully defended his client in a Miami-Dade Circuit Court lawsuit where the former employer sued for breach of a non-compete and non-solicitation contract. After several injunction hearings spanning several months, the former employer was unable to obtain a temporary injunction. On the eve of trial, the former employer dismissed its lawsuit with prejudice, without any payment from Mr. Mavrick's client or any further obligations to the former employer. Under the non-confidential settlement, the former employer contractually agreed that its non-compete/non-solicitation contract is deemed terminated and void., 2025
