In May 2025, Mr. Mavrick successfully defended his client in a Miami-Dade Circuit Court lawsuit where the former employer sued for breach of a non-compete and non-solicitation contract. After several injunction hearings spanning several months, the former employer was unable to obtain a temporary injunction. On the eve of trial, the former employer dismissed its lawsuit with prejudice, without any payment from Mr. Mavrick's client or any further obligations to the former employer. Mr. Mavrick successfully represented an Arizona corporation in a business litigation case in Broward Circuit Court against three Florida corporations and two principals of those corporations. The defendants vigorously defended this complex case, involving technical issues related to construction machinery and related safety issues, accounting issues involving multiple corporations' bank records and transfers of monies related to the claims asserting fraud, and various witnesses for the parties.
